BEST is a government funded scheme supporting businesses and eligible organisations within the following local authority areas:
- Newcastle
- Northumberland
- North Tyneside
- Gateshead
Through the BEST project, capital grants of up to £25,000 can currently be provided to assist businesses with the cost of eligible energy efficiency improvements. This is a time limited offer, providing 45-50 % towards installation works and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
These improvements encompass a range of solutions including, but not limited to:
- Heating upgrades
- LED lighting retrofitting
- Insulation
- Solar PV installation
We’d like to make you aware of the opportunities for suppliers and installers to deliver these works, helping local businesses to reduce their carbon emissions and improve their renewable energy generation capacity.
