LED Installation
We have successfully completed two specialist lighting projects for the college: the Sports Hall and the Car Park. Both areas required specific lighting specifications to meet strict guidelines and health and safety requirements, ensuring compliance with industry standards while significantly improving energy efficiency.
Our Task:
Sports Hall: The project involved removing over 35 existing 8-tube fluorescent fittings and replacing them with 14 high-performance LED Sports Floodlights. Work was carried out at a height of 14 metres using professional scaffolding equipment to ensure accuracy and safety during installation.
Car Park: We converted 49 existing lamps to energy-efficient LED using specialist corn bulbs. The work required operating at height over a large area, carried out efficiently using a cherry picker to minimise disruption to college operations.
These upgrades deliver substantial cost reductions, improved lighting quality, and a safer, more sustainable environment for staff, students, and visitors.
