LED Installation

Utility Alliance recently moved into their impressive new headquarters at Hartlepool Marina. To help them create one of the most energy-efficient commercial buildings in Hartlepool, we were tasked with upgrading all interior and exterior lighting to modern LED fittings and controls. Our goal was to deliver exceptional lighting performance while significantly reducing energy consumption and long-term running costs.

Our Task

Working to a tight two-week deadline, our team carried out a full lighting refit across the four-storey office building. In total, more than 500 fittings were replaced with energy-efficient LED alternatives, including CAT2 600×600 panels, floodlights, bulkheads, and emergency lighting. Every installation was completed to the highest standard, ensuring minimal disruption to the client’s day-to-day operations.

Client Savings

The results speak for themselves. The old fluorescent lighting cost approximately £663 per month (£7,956 per year). After the upgrade, the new LED lighting reduced this to £290 per month (£3,484 per year). This represents an impressive annual saving of £4,632 — all while improving light quality and lowering maintenance costs.
